Jeong Maeng-gyo, leader of the Power Team 2 of Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK), was selected as a recipient of merit in electrical safety management at the "2024 Korea Electrical Safety Awards" event on the September 5th and received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Team leader Jeong was honored with the award in recognition of his contribution to the development of national society through the prevention of electrical accidents and the management of electrical safety. He said in his acceptance speech, "Based on our know-how in the field, we will work harder with our seniors and juniors to prevent electrical accidents and to ensure electrical safety."

Meanwhile, the "Korea Electrical Safety Awards" marks its 27th anniversary this year as the largest event in the electrical safety field to reward those who contributed to the prevention of electrical accidents and electrical safety and pledge to spread and practice safety culture.
