Four employees of TAK received commendations from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Chairman of the Korea Federation of Textile Industry at the 38th Textile Day ceremony held at the Korea Textile Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the November 11th.

Kim Jeong-sam of the New material research team and Jang Yong-joo of the Staple fiber conservation division were awarded the Minister of Industry's Commendation in recognition of innovative product technology development and global competitiveness, while Yeo Byeong-gu of the Arawin sales team and Lee Ho-yeon of the Polyester filament sales team were honored with the Korea Federation of Textiles' Commendation.

The winners said, "With today's award, we will work harder in our work and strive for the win-win development of the company and the textile industry."

Meanwhile, Textile Day was established on November 11, 1987, to commemorate the achievement of $10 billion in textile exports for the first time in the domestic industry.
